Event Coordinator Intern

Job Summary:

​

As a RunwayTo Event Coordinator Intern, you will play a vital role in the planning, coordination, and promotion of our fashion show event, RunwayTo. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in event management, marketing, and fashion industry exposure. You will work closely with the team to ensure the successful execution of the event and create a memorable experience for attendees and participants alike.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Event Planning: Assist in the planning and organization of the RunwayTo fashion show event, including logistics, timelines, and budget management.

  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with various vendors, designers, models, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration leading up to and during the event.

  • Promotional Activities: Contribute to promotional efforts by creating social media content, drafting press releases, and engaging with influencers to build excitement and increase event visibility.

  • On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during the event, ensuring all elements are running smoothly, addressing any issues that may arise, and assisting with setup and breakdown.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, designers, and other stakeholders to align event objectives with overall brand goals.

  • Sponsorship Support: Collaborate with the sponsorship team to fulfill sponsorship agreements and ensure sponsor satisfaction.

  • Post-Event Evaluation: Assist in gathering feedback from attendees, participants, and sponsors to evaluate the event's success and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

 

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in event management, marketing, fashion, or a related field.

  • Passion for Fashion: An interest in the fashion industry and knowledge of current fashion trends and events.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, vendors, and event participants.

  • Organization: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

  • Creativity: Ability to think creatively and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the event experience.

  • Team Player: A collaborative attitude, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and solve problems proactively.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using productivity software, social media platforms, and online collaboration tools.

Duration:

  • We are seeking a candidate who can commit for a minimum period of 4 to 6 months.
